Where the scarf originated?
How big a buisness is "the scarf"
The scarf according to Wikipedia "A scarf is a piece of fabric worn around the neck, or near the head or around the waist for warmth, cleanliness, fashion or for religious reasons.
It originated in Ancient Rome and was called a sudarium.
The scarf when included as a fashion accessory is part of the 16.3 billion dollar industry. Even with the economic turndown predictions are that the market will climb to over 20 billion in 2012 for ACCESSORIES! This includes scarves, bags, belts and hats!
