Why do we need Rescue/Re-homing?

Simply put, there are alpacas and llamas that need assistance. This is a way we can demonstrate true honor to these valuable and precious souls. We believe that national Camelid organizations should be leading the way in this regard…. CIABA has become a nationally recognized leader in the industry, and we are proud to lead by example.  In the future we will be asking our  membership if you would like CIABA to set up a CIABA Rescue Fund,  through a  Voluntary Donation button.  Should there be funds available these funds will be extended to  well established rescues all ready in place, and doing a great job!

Listed below is a compiled list of Camelid rescue organizations.
If you know of an organization that is not listed, please forward the
information to founders@ciaba.org so that we can include it in our list.
Please feel free to contact these organizations to adopt, foster, donate
or if you should ever  find yourself in need.

From time to time specific items are needed to help camelids who have been rescued. Sometime we think that we cant help...sometimes it may be somthing simple, like a tube of de-wormer, or somthing comforting like a blanket for the old or thin... sometimes doing something little is really very big.  Why not contact a rescue and see if there is anything at all you can do to help! As of January 17 the South East Lama Rescue needs blankets. www.southeastllamarescue.org
